Heavy Metal Fantasy Art

Heavy metal and bad fantasy illustration go together like cheese and biscuits. Those skulls, those serpents, those breasts… I can’t quite decide if these things should be reviled or admired. It may be titillation for teenage boys created by slightly older teenage boys, but you have to hand it to a guy like Derek Riggs, who has built an entire career on adding the visual pyrotechnics to Iron Maiden’s rawk.
